How To Help A Student Help Me Write A Term Paper
How To Help A Student Help Me Write A Term PaperIn the past, I have never known how to help a student to help me write a term paper. As an adjunct professor, I have taught the same syllabus for over five years now and I have seen students struggle with the same basic information day after day.The syllabus states that the main purpose of the term paper is to identify someone's name or title. The reader is asked to 'connect' the names of the two people with the research results. It is supposed to be a reflection of the character of the person, to show his personality or his perspective on the topics. But, students often complain that the word 'connect' does not connect with them, they fail to see any relevance between the topic and the research material. Students also complain that they do not have time to write a term paper, while some could not even finish an essay, let alone a term paper. So, in the past I have not helped students with a term paper because it was too much of a burden. Now, a year after the first student who complained, I can help the student to help me write a term paper for my classes. It has been a year since my first student, and a lot has changed for me as a person and as a teacher. Students tell me how the students who have assisted me have helped them write a term paper. It is unbelievable to me that students are more eager to help me write a term paper, than to help them help me in other parts of their life. When a student asks me to help him with a term paper, he already has confidence in me, and he wants to know what I will teach him and how it will help him write a term paper. There is no problem for me, because I know he is doing well on the research topic and he has an excellent grade. It is amazing that students are so eager to help me write a term paper. What has been surprising is that most students never ask me for help with their term paper. I guess students want to do their research before writing a term paper. This makes me wonde r about the mindset of students, why they want to help me help them help me help them.
